Clinical Supervision
Supporting children and families who have experienced trauma is profoundly meaningful work but it can also be demanding and emotionally complex. Those who care for others deserve to be cared for too.
We offer clinical supervision to a wide range of professionals, including clinical psychologists, therapists, and allied professionals such as teachers, social workers and support workers - anyone supporting developmentally traumatised children.
Supervision with us is a compassionate, reflective space tailored to each supervisee, and may include:
Enhancing clinical skills: offering feedback, supporting case planning, and exploring new therapeutic techniques
Promoting professional development: nurturing professional identity and confidence, and thinking together about the ethical aspects of the work
Supporting emotional wellbeing: providing a safe, supportive space to reflect on the work and process the difficult feelings it can bring
We believe good supervision does two things at once: it helps professionals offer the highest quality of care to those they support, while protecting and sustaining their own wellbeing along the way.
